|---|---|---|
| How it leads | Payroll first: auto-computed PF, ESI, PT, LWF and TDS across all 28 states, and direct government portal filing, in greytHR's words. | One record from job description to final settlement, with the statutory rules in the engine rather than in a report. |
| Salary structures and the labour codes | greytHR's help page offers configurability for the basic = 50% rule and states that the platform does not automatically enforce wage restructuring. | Offers are built with basic at half of CTC. On every payroll run PF and gratuity are computed on wages floored at 50%, and the Payroll Compliance screen lists each structure that falls short. |
| Pricing | Published: Essential ₹2,495 a month for 50 employees and ₹45 per employee above 50; Growth ₹4,495 and ₹85; Premium on request. SSO and API are add-ons on Essential. | No published price yet; the range is being finalised. |
| Security | greytHR states SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certification, with native SSO and API. | No certifications yet. Single sign-on with Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID and Zoho Directory; the rest is on our security and DPDP page. |
| Scale | 33,000+ companies, 3.5 million+ employees and 30+ countries, per its home page. | Early: a handful of Indian companies, named on our customers page as each agrees to be. |

greytHR has run Indian payroll for a long time and publishes its prices; both are reasons to shortlist it. The difference is where the rules live. In Flowy the definition of wages, the 50% test, each state’s professional tax and welfare fund, and the gratuity base are in the engine, and a structure that falls short is listed before the run, not found in a report after it.
Flowy is early and says so. If you need published pricing today, a certification on paper, or a vendor with tens of thousands of customers, greytHR has all three.
Questions
Why would a company choose Flowy over greytHR?
For the record that runs from hiring to exit without re-entry, and for the labour-code rules applied in the engine rather than left to configuration. A company that needs a vendor with decades of payroll filings and published prices today has that in greytHR.
Does greytHR handle the 50% wage rule?
Its help page describes configurability for a basic = 50% rule and says the platform does not automatically enforce wage restructuring. Check the current help page; this was read on 22 October 2026.
